Raising the Chinese public's awareness about thrombosis

To shine a light on World Thrombosis Day, this episode of the People’s Daily’s media platform in China – People’s Good Doctor – looks at the use of diagnostics for thrombosis prevention. Director Zhu Tienan, Chief Physician of the Haematology Department at Peking Union Medical College Hospital, as well as Director Wu Jun, Chief of the Laboratory Department at Peking Ji Shui Tan Hospital, both share their expertise on how early detection of thrombotic events can lead to better diagnosis and treatment. From a patient management perspective, this means a more comprehensive coagulation screening strategy to identify changes in biomarkers before symptoms appear.
