In 2020, a disparate group of laboratories in New Zealand merged into a new entity called Awanui Group. In the following months, the company needed to rebuild many systems and processes from the ground up, all while adapting to a set of national health reforms that were announced in April 2021. In the second part of this Q&A series with Awanui Group CEO Anoop Singh, we hear more about this transformation journey and the lessons learned as he navigates this change.
