As Director of the Coalition for Global Hepatitis Elimination of the Task Force for Global Health, Dr John Ward has deep experience in supporting hepatitis elimination strategies around the world. In this presentation at RED 2023, he focuses on the challenges around hepatitis C (HCV) elimination. This includes discussion of model programmes from around the world that demonstrate how changes in testing policies, laboratory methods, clinical practice, and community outreach improve access to testing and linkages to care.
